For over twenty years we've built infrastructure software for engineers. Our belief is simple: community software should solve real production problems and remain useful indefinitely without trial expiry. Commercial value begins when organisations need deeper integration, orchestration, resilience, and direct expertise.
It's 2:00 AM. Your CFO is trying to connect remotely and can't get in. You get the support call, check the VPN, check authentication, check the logs. Everything is working. Then you find it:
Nothing is broken. The server has capacity. The software can authenticate another user perfectly well. But someone became employee number 51, and apparently that requires a conversation with Sales.
That's the traditional software trap. Not a technical limit. A commercial one, deliberately inserted into otherwise functional software. User limits. Connection limits. Usage caps. Expiring trials. Packaging designed to make working software less useful until you pay more.

Our Community editions often include what other vendors reserve for their paid tiers. That's deliberate.
We don't believe free software should be a demo with just enough functionality removed to make you reach for a credit card. Our Community software is built to solve real problems, in real production environments, for as long as you need it.
No trials. No arbitrary user limits. No deliberately crippled software designed to force an upgrade.

No hidden phone home.
Our Community products require periodic online licence validation. We don't hide it, and we don't require you to register or identify yourself to use them.
The information sent to Jadaptive is anonymous, and we publicly document exactly what is transmitted. You shouldn't have to take our word for it — you can see for yourself.
If your organisation cannot permit outbound licence validation, offline licensing is available with our commercial editions.
Generous doesn't have to mean unconditional. It does have to mean transparent.
